| The duration of the project is proposed for a period of three years for the development of leather sector of the Gujarat through the activities viz. Diagnostic study of working cooperative societies , then empowerment of selected cooperatives of State through Training , Tutoring and mentoring on Technology Up gradation and management , Entrepreneurship development programme , Up gradation of selected potentially viable cooperatives , Up gradation of Leather Articles and Footwear making cooperatives , Arranging buyer sellers meet , Participation in Exhibition within a State ,out side the State and out of the Country also to promote their products and thereby Handsome yields to them , Visit to leather fairs and International leather fairs for market awareness , opening of retail market outlets / showrooms within the country . The above all activities is proposed to implement in the following manner.
