The whole concept of the project is based on sustainable technology for the benefit of mankind more particularly the BPL families. The prime objective of this project is uplift the BPL families above poverty line during the project period. The more specific objectives of the Project are given below.
- To Conduct diagnostic study to find out the potentially viable Leather cooperative societies.
- To improve their overall socio-economic condition through skill upgradation and formation programme.
- To provide entrepreneurial skill to the trained beneficiaries to set up their own enterprise.
- To upgrade the leather cooperative Societies by providing infrastructure facilities & machineries for
better processing of their finished products.
- To Provide Marketing Support .
- Finally to change the whole leather scenario of Gujarat.
