| It is proposed to do marketing of the produce goods through attending leather fair at Delhi, Kolkata , International fair at Chennai , Participation in the various exhibition cum sale through out the country and out of the country also. Establishing show room within the State and out side the State also. |

| Infrastructure Development |
| As the project is proposed for leather coperative societies , Infrastructure is already existed even though the cooperative society which is having good infrastructure shall be selected for up gradation. For project execution a team of project consultant along with technicians are proposed to be hired and the cost of which is already covered under the project. |

| Benefit/Impact of the Project |
| -In Gujarat around 374 leather cooperatives are registered with CCI from which we can say that around 37400 (Approximately 100 members on an average per society ) are in organised sector. In addition to this there are thousands of leather workers in unorganised sector also. All the leather workers of the Gujarat State will be benefited directly and indirectly . They will get better technology , upgraded skill , new product designing , product diversification etc. Unorganised leather workers will be motivated for cooperative/ association to get direct benefit of this project. Out of the total leather workers mentioned of not less than 30,000 (approx) are BPL. So under this project not less than 30000 leather workers will be benefited and the whole standard of life of all leather workers will change drastically. They will get new direction for their upliftment. |

| The project is prepared in consultation with Rural Technology Institute , Gandhinagar and Central Leather Research Institute ( RCED ), Ahmedabad. They have scrutinised the project technically and economically viability also. The project will be implemented in coordination with CLRI , Chennai. ( a pioneer Institute engaged in Leather Industries , a Central Government organisation. ) |

| The project cost Rs. 1398.38 lacs will cover total 37,400 leather workers of 374 cooperative of which 80 percent members fall under BPL comes to around 30,000 in organised sector and thousands of leather workers of unorganised sector will also benefited by awareness of training , upgradation of skill , new designs, product development, diversification and new market also. And this whole process , project will change the leather scenario of Gujarat drastically. |
