Orientation Programme at Chennai.

Design Development



  • Travel of 100 trainees 4 Batch from Gujarat to Chennai and back (by train)
  • Boarding and Lodging expenses for 100 trainees at Chennai.
  • Travel, boarding, lodging expenses of out-station resource persons, tutors from GRIMCO, CLRI (RCED), mentors from Gujarat (36 persons)
  • Hides/skins, chemicals and other consumable materials
  • Training materials.
  • Preparation of work manuals
  • Tool and training kit
  • Internal travel of trainees to field visits/fair sites etc.
  • Fees payable to resource persons.
  • External payments to experts, institutions and industrial attachments.
  • Preparation of training materials
  • Examination for assessment of trainer potentials.
Tutoring Visits
 
  • Travel costs for two visits by two experts for each cooperative
  • Boarding and lodging expenses for 100 man visits for two days each ( Four three year's)
  • Local transport and conveyance at each cooperative
  • Preparation of feed back report after each visit.
  • Chemicals and consumables if any for demonstration during the second visit.
Monitoring visits
 
  • Travel costs for three visits by one expert for each cooperative
  • Boarding and lodging expenses for 125 man visits for two days each.
  • Local transport and conveyance at each cooperative
  • Preparation of feed back report after each visit.
  • Expertise costs and consultancy fees at Rs 5000 per each visit.
Feed Back after Training Programs
 
  • Travel of 100 trainees to Gandhinagar.
  • Boarding and lodging for ten days for 60 people.
  • Training materials for feed back.
Buyer -Seller Meet/Exhibition of Products of Cooperatives.
 
  • Travel costs (Partial ) of buyers
  • Exhibition of Samples produced by cooperatives.
  • Preparation of Samples
  • Transport of samples in and out of Gandhinagar
Establishing a Material Bank
 
  • Preparation of design report.
  • Selection and finalisation of materials needed.

Development of Designs and Technologies
 
  • Consultancy assignments of NID/ FDDI ./NIFT/CLRI @ Rs. 3000 per design and Rs 20,000 per technology generated for exclusive use of cooperatives.
 

With the implementation of the above leather sector development programme , approximately 37400 ( on an average 100 members per society ) leather workers will enriched with the knowledge and awreness about various types of leather , new designed leather article products and diversification in application of leather and leather products.

Out of the above mentioned 37400 leather workers , 80 percent of the leather workers are BPL, therefore 29920 BPL leather workers will be benefited by above special project.
