Benefit of various training to BPL beneficiaries
It is observed that the members of the leather cooperatives are ranging from 51 to 300 approx. In Gujarat 374 leather cooperatives registered with CCI and under this special project around 37,400 (approx) members ( on an average 100 members per society would be benefited under this special project). As the members who have undergone the training will trained the other remaining members of their societies plus other societies near to them which will help them in producing better quality leather, leather products and articles and also value added products. This will increase their income and there by standard of living. We can conclude that out of total 37400 leather workers, 80 percent of them around 30,000 ( approx) are BPL will be benefited.
